Ingredients
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
- Mushroom – 2 tablespoons (cut into small pieces)
- Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
- Chicken – 250 grams (boneless - shredded)
- Chicken stock – 4 cups
- Water – 2 to 3 cups
- Tomato paste – 1 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
- Soya sauce – 1 tablespoon
- Vinegar – 2 tablespoons
- Corn flour – 4 tablespoons
- Carrot – ½ cup (cut into long thin pieces)
- Cabbage – 1 ¾ cup (cut into long thin pieces)
- Capsicum – ½ cup (cut into long thin pieces)
- Egg white – 3
Method
- Add butter and mushrooms in a pan and mix well.
- Now add garlic paste and cook for two minutes, now add chicken and cook it until its color gets changed.
- Add chicken stock and water and boil it well.
- Now add salt, black pepper, red chilli powder and tomato paste and mix them well.
- Add soya sauce and vinegar and cook it for about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Now add a little water in corn flour then pour it into the soup with keep mixing it well.
- Now add carrot, cabbage and capsicum into it then cook it about 3 minutes.
- While keep stirring the soup with spoon, add egg white into it.
- Now Hot and sour soup Is ready to be served.
