Pakistan Take The Lead In Second Test

Due to the responsible batting from Azhar Ali and Misbah-Ul-Haq Pakistan take the lead of 81 runs in their first innings while the host side scored 40 runs loose of 1 wicket.

When Pakistan resumed their first innings, Azhar Ali and Misbah-Ul-Haq were on the crease in second test in Barbados.


Both batsman cautiously resumed first session of day three and lost no wicket but only scored 54 runs in 26 overs on a difficult pitch to bat on.

After lunch break Azhar Ali got his thirteen test century but he got out immediately after scoring century of the bowling of Davendra Bishoo.

From the other end Misbah-Ul-Haq Continued scoring responsibly and he developed a partnership of 57 runs with Asad Shafiq but he got on 99 runs of the bowling of Jason Holder. This was second occasion in the series when Misbah-Ul-Haq could not complete his century.

After Misbah-Ul-Haq had got out rest of the players kept throwing their wickets away by playing wrong shots.

Pakistan whole team was all out on 393 runs with the lead of 81 runs.

Shannon Gabriel was the most successful bowler who took 4 wickets while Jason Holder and Bishoo took 3 wickets each.

When West Indies Started their second innings with the deficit of 81 runs, Muhammad Abbas got Karon Powell out early who just scored 6 runs.

At the end of third day's play West Indies scored 40 runs for loss of 1 wicket.
