Skillet Rice With Sausage Recipe in Urdu
Ingredients:
- 1 (16-ounce) package smoked sausage
- 1 medium-size green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 (3.5-ounce) bags quick-cooking brown rice
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Cut sausage into ½-inch slices. Saute in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat around 10 minutes or until it gets golden. Now remove sausage slices, and drain on paper towels, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet.
Now add onion, bell pepper and garlic to skillet, and saute over medium-high heat about 4 minutes or until it gets tender.
Add chicken broth and stir to loosen particles from bottom of skillet, and bring to a boil. Remove rice from cooking bag; add rice, sausage, pepper, salt to skillet.
Reduce heat to medium-low, then cover it and cook for about five minutes or until rice gets tender.
Skillet Rice With Sausage is ready to served with salad.
