Younis Khan Becomes The First Pakistani Batsman To Score 10000 Runs In Test Cricket

The great batsman Younis Khan has completed 10000 runs in test cricket against West Indies and has become the first Pakistani and world's 13th to achieve this incredible milestone.


He completed his 10000 runs in style by hitting boundary against West Indies in Jamaica.
Sunil Gavaskar was the first player in the history of test to score 10000 runs. He achieved this milestone against Pakistan in 1987 in Ahmedabad.

A little Look On Younis Khan's Career
Younis Khan did his debut for international cricket on 13 February 2000 in one day series against Sri Lanka and scored 46 runs in his debut match.

The most runs scorer for Pakistan Younis Khan played his debut test match on 26 February against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi and he scored a century in his very first test match.

Pakistan won the T20 world cup in 2009 under Younis Khan's captaincy which is the biggest victory after 1992 world.

Younis Khan not only broke the record of javed Miandad's most runs but he broke the record of Inzimam-Ul-Haq's most centuries as well.

The great batsman has also got the record of scoring most centuries apart from most runs from Pakistan.

He also played his career best innings by scoring 313 runs against Sri Lanka.

Younis Khan got retirement from one day cricket during the series against Australia in 2015 in UAE.
He played 265 one day matches and scored 7249 including 7 centuries and 48 half centuries and also got 3 wickets.
